As a career changer it was important to me to start in a junior role and learn my trade via on-the-job experience and training. The graduate scheme was an amazing opportunity to learn from each department, accumulate a plethora of skills and decide what area of the industry that I wanted to take my career. 
A unique rotational scheme across each department, working for three companies in unison and an exciting training programme was why I applied for and accepted the role. 
Working within the Tara Group is a breath of fresh air. Through dipping my toes in each discipline, I have met and built relationships with people across the group; this is not only a benefit regarding my professional output but also creates a fun, flexible, friendly, and supportive working environment that many PLCs in the industry wouldn’t be able to achieve. 
Construction is a highly lucrative and rewarding industry. There is plenty of opportunity for career growth/progression that is recognised and acknowledged across all areas of our business, and the wider industry. 
My experience of the Tara Group has been delightful, I have enjoyed the mixed work I have been involved in (both site and office based), I have loved working in a friendly and supportive team and I have appreciated all that I have learnt via the Tara group and the opportunities I have been provided.

I chose the graduate programme as I was unsure of what specific job role I wanted to take up as a career. It was great to have the opportunity to try different departments and sus out which one was right for me. 
From wider research around the company, I found that tara group were pretty much top in terms of quality. For me, its key that the final product that everyone is working towards is something I can be proud of. The company also aligns a lot of its values with my own, such as family. 
Tara group provides the perfect working environment, everyone is incredibly helpful and friendly. This helped me settle in extremely quickly. There are frequent social events that make it easy to meet everyone in the company 
Growing up construction was always something that I was interested/ familiar with. With some family members coming from a construction background, it was an industry that I already felt comfortable in.
My experience with the company thus far has been great, all the departments I have been in have been challenging and varied, there is always opportunities to take on more responsibility when you want it and whenever you’re struggling people don’t hesitate to help. it really takes away all the negatives associated with starting a new job. The programme initially exceeded my expectations and continues to do so.

I accepted the role at Tara Group because I believed the graduate scheme offered a great, well thought out structure as well as the company itself looked and sounded like a company I would be welcomed into and feel proud to work for.
The companies within the group offers a wide range of resources, knowledge and skills that is available to me. I feel part of a team / family and everyone is willing to help. I feel genuinely cared about. 
I like the fact you can physically see the benefit of you hard work. 
My experience so far has been exactly what I was hoping for, I have gained so much knowledge and confidence within the construction industry that I will definitely use in my future career. I think being able to have experience and time within each department offers invaluable insight that I would never have gained going straight into a job.

I feel very privileged to work within Tara Group. There is no coasting along, there are always opportunities to get involved with something new. The Group is really proactive in offering support in all forms, ranging from professional training, team building opportunities and financial support.
Construction appealed to me as an industry because of the challenging and varied working environment.  I enjoy working alongside and learning from the broad range of characters and the fact that no two days are the same, you spend time both in the office as well as out on site. 
My time so far has exceeded any expectations I had prior to starting. I have been made to feel welcome and valued by every team I have been a part of. The support and training I have been given has allowed me to make a real contribution and take on further responsibilities whilst continuing to learn and progress through the graduate programme.
